Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys
Date : Thursday, November 30, 2017
Vanu: AT&T Stadium
Start Time: 8:25p ET NBC, NFLN
The Redskins just snapped a two-game losing skid with a 20-10 victory over the Giants on Thanksgiving evening. That game was tied at 10-10 well into the fourth quarter, but Washington took the lead for good on a Kirk Cousins touchdown pass to Josh Doctson. The team then secured the win and the cover as a seven-point favorite with a Nick Rose field goal just inside the two-minute warning. On the night the Redskins outgained New York 323-170, outrushed the Giants 122-84 and won time of possession by a 35-25 margin. Along the way the Washington defense held New York out of the end zone all game; the only touchdown the Giants scored came on a pick-six off a Cousins interception.
The Dallas Cowboys (5-6) are riding in a three-game losing streak, including a 28-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Dak Prescott completed 20 of 27 passes for 179 yards and two interceptions. On the ground, Rod Smith rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown in nine carries while Alfred Morris added 36 yards in nine attempts. In the receiving end, Terrance Williams posted 54 yards in four receptions while Jason Witten added 44 yards in seven catches. Dez Bryant had 37 yards in three receptions. Offensively, the Cowboys are averaging 22.5 points and 333.5 total yards (198.7 in passing and 134.8 in rushing) per game. Defensively, the Cowboys are yielding 24.5 points and 348.3 total yards (235.7 in passing and 112.5 in rushing) per game.
